In the body of Christ no one should have to face life's challenges alone. At The Lighthouse we purpose to provide a listening ear and prayer, for anyone who needs it.

We consider pastoral care to be a shared responsibility. We encourage everyone who views The Lighthouse as their home fellowship to connect with a Life Group where they can build supportive friendships and receive regular prayer.

Volunteering at Le Pre Long
Â
Le Pre Long is a 120 acre farm owned by the Harper Family. Â It is set in a peaceful rural location in the Vendee, France. The traditonal farmhouse has been redeveloped with dormitory accommodation. Â The farm is ideally located for walking and cycling and has a bakery facility and camping area.

Over the past number of years, teams sent from The Lighthouse have been involved in assisting David and Di Harper to develop the farm. Â The ongoing restoration work on the farm buildings is analogous to the renewing and restorative work that often takes place in the lives of those who volunteer at Le Pre Long.

The Lighthouse currently sends out 2 to 3 teams per year. Â As spaces are limited, team members are invited by our core leadership after prayerful consideration. Â For a preview of Le Pre Long please see the video below. Please contact Andy Campbell for more info. Â

We do recognise, however, that in times of crisis support from an experienced pastor or counsellor may be necessary. Although we cannot offer long term counselling we can be there for your immediate need and point you in the right direction for further help.
